>This is a family-run permaculture and conservation project in the foothills of the Andes, started in 1995. The aim of the project is to encourage independence from petroleum towards a carbon-free society based on human values.
It is located 3 hours to the north of Quito on the western side of the Andes in the province of Ibarra.

Volunteers work on a variety of tasks at this project related to permaculture, conservation and reforestation. These include general maintenance tasks that vary throughout the year. |
