"This is a poor community in a beautiful part of the Andes that needs a lot of help in their local school."
This is an indigenous Kichwa community consisting of around 1000 persons in the poorest province of Ecuador. The local school lacks sufficient teachers and has no teacher who can effectively teach English.
It is located 3 hours to the south of Quito in the high Andes. From the town of Latacunga it is about an hour by bus via Sigchos to the community.
