>This is a family-run permaculture and conservation project in the foothills of the Andes, started in 1995. The aim of the project is to encourage independence from petroleum towards a carbon-free society based on human values.

It is located 3 hours to the north of Quito on the western side of the Andes in the province of Ibarra. 

Range of tasks:

Volunteers work on a variety of tasks at this project related to permaculture, conservation and reforestation. These include general maintenance tasks that vary throughout the year.

Volunteer accommodation on site.

Ability to do physical work outdoors.
