Project Description: |
El Arca is a family run, privately funded centre for rescued and confiscated wild animals. It is open to the public for tours in order to provide education about these species, and their fate as illegal pets or trafficked animals. |
Range of Tasks: |
Assist with animal feeding and care, park maintenance and construction. Lead tours of people visiting the park, either in their native language, or Spanish, depending on their ability. Professionals in the fields of veterinary science, biology or other related areas can assist with animal care and the more technical functions and of the rescue centre. |
Time Committment: |
4 weeks, although shorted times can be arranged, depending on the volunteer’s skills and experience. |

Schedule: |
6.30am to 4.30pm with one hour lunch break. Day off on Saturday. |
