Project Name:	Teaching project in one of 3 public fiscal schools in Conocoto:
Project Location:	Conocoto, about 30 minutes from the Yanapuma office outside of Quito
Project Description:	Escuela Fiscal Amable Arauz is a public school only for boys, with about 1000 students ages 5-14 years old. Escuela Fiscal Abelardo Flores is a public school only for girls, with about 800-900 students 5-14 years old.
Range of Tasks:	Both schools are looking for volunteers to help teach English. As a volunteer, you would be a teacher’s assistant in the English class to the English teacher, helping with lessons plans, teaching lessons and basic vocabulary or grammar, grading homework and tests, and particularly helping with pronunciation and introducing games and fun activities. In addition, the boys’ school is seeking volunteers to help teach physical education or music, while the girl’s school would like volunteers particularly in their music and art classes.
Time Committment:	One month is an absolute minimum, but they would prefer longer stays to carry out specific teaching projects during the school year.
Skills required:	One must have experience in the subject they would like to teach, unless assisting the English teacher or teachers in other subjects.
Schedule:	School is in session from 7:30am-1pm and runs from September through June
