Cleaning cages, feeding and taking care of the animals, maintaining the park. No previous experience.

Interests in animals, no specific skills needed. I would certainly recommend this to other volunteers. Great experience and wonderful people.

1. Was the information, communication and support you received from Yanapuma, both before and during your volunteer placement, adequate? If not, please explain why and offer suggestions on how it could be improved.

Information received from ‘Het andere reizen’ was not correct. E.g. phone numbers were not correct. Pick up at airport was not arranged. I had to call and wait for over an hour.
Also information on the location was not completely correct. ‘Private room with TV’ was not available. I didn’t mind, but better not to ‘sell’ it like this, because some people might get disappointed.
