            The main task was giving food to the animals at 6:30 in the morning, after this time there was a large variety of different task that were undertook

An intermediate level of Spanish or higher with any form of interest in animals

  1. Was the information, communication and support you received from Yanapuma, both before and during your volunteer placement, adequate? If not, please explain why and offer suggestions on how it could be improved.

            Everything went well as far as communication

  1. How would you rate your overall experience?

            11 out of 10!!

  1. If you would like, please write a short paragraph summing up your volunteer placement to help Yanapuma, our partner organisations and future volunteers learn from your experience.

            At first the volunteer began as an giving food to the animals and helping build and maintain the cages for the animals, Later I met a teacher from the high school in Cotundo and began to teach English in the classes there after giving food to the animals.  This is a great experience and I would recommend to other volunteers with English as a first language and an age of 17-20 to contact the high school to assist in English as this was an excellent way to meet locals.
