Fundación Agua Muisne

Fundación Agua Muisne is a non-profit corporation founded in 2007 by a group of Americans and Ecuadorians who are concerned about the many people who are put in grave danger by bad drinking water. Yanapuma is working with them in the Cabo San Francisco region, installing a clean drinking water system in Estero de Plátano.
FASCA

Fundación Acción Social Caritas is working in the parish of Puerto Limón on projects to improve nutrition and health. Yanapuma has signed an agreement with FASCA to combine their work with our reforestation projects, planting trees that produce fruits alongside timber trees. We are undertaking a project with them in 2011 and aim to seek funding to expand this work in the future.
Earth Conservation (Poland)

Earth conservation is an international organization based in Poland that works to promote sustainable agriculture and conservation. They are especially involved with connecting Latin American Shade Grown Cacao producers to international markets in order to process the beans into beautifull swiss-made fair trade chocolate bars. Yanapuma will seek to connect cacao producers in Caimito and eventually Bua to these markerts with the help of Earth Conservation.
CasaInterAm (Ecuador)

Casa Ineram works is involved in sustainable agriculture, conservation and tourism projects in Ecuador, Guatemala, and Puerto Rico. In Ecuador they have a proven track record in community tourism, conservation and cultural preservation. As Yanapuma and Casa Interam have similar objectives and strategies we seek to share our experiences and find spaces where we can work together to achieve similar goals.
Thinking Beyond Borders (USA)

Thinking Beyond Borders is an NGO that empowers youth to become agents of proactive change in the world, with an understanding of global issues, through a round-the-world program that visits Ecuador each year to study problems related to water.
Sotogrande International School (Spain)

Sotogrande International School is a school with a holistic vision of the development of each child, that strives to put education into a global context, cultivating a sense of community service and global environmental responsibility.
Engineers Without Borders (Portland, Oregon Chapter)

Engineers without borders pairs students with professionals and works in communities in 45 countries to install clean water , energy, sanitation and education projects. Especially in Ecuador, Engineers without borders has been very active in providing sustainable solutions to the lack of purified drinking water. Yanapuma has cultivated a relationship with the Portland Chapter of Engineers Without Borders. In 2008 they collaborated with Yanapuma in the construction of 6 ecological toilets at the local school in Bua. In 2009 they will construct a purified water system in the community of Puca Chicta.
ECOSAN (Ecuador)

EcoSan is an Ecuadorian network of NGOs curretly working on providing sustainable and ecological solutions to water, sanitation and health needs across Ecuador. It is a great source of resources and experiences in the field of appropriate ecological sanitation. As Yanapuma continues to monitor and expand its ecological toilet project, EcoSan is an important network that can scale up ecological sanitaton on a regional and national level.
Fundación FURARE (Ecuador)

Fundación para el desarrollo sustentable Cabo San Francisco (FCSF)

FCSF works in the fields of agriculture, water, and environmental education in the Canton Muisne. They are an important partner for future research, planning and implementing of projects and programs in the Estero de Platano and Caimito region.
UNIVERSITIES
Yanapuma is working with several international universities to further our work and to provide opportunities for service learning and internship opportunities to students from outside Ecuador.
VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATIONS
Yanapuma is working with a number of international volunteer organizations, focusing human and financial resources on marginalized communities while providing opportunities for volunteers to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development and gain valuable life experience.
