If you would like to work with Yanapuma to develop links between rural marginal schools in Ecuador and your school we will be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.

Our aim is to create mutual benefit –

Schools in Ecuador
• can benefit from gaining a wider perspective on the world through contact and exchange with children of a different culture and lifestyle
• can benefit through the delivery of resources for improving their level of education in the form of infrastructure development, provision of educational materials, improvement of teaching methods, etc
• can develop an appreciation for their own culture and environment through the perspective they gain from other children in other countries

Schools in developed countries
• can benefit through the children learning at first hand about life and challenges for children growing up and studying in a developing country
• can benefit through engagement in hands-on projects to help improve the learning conditions of children in a developing country, learning what is needed and how successful changes can be implemented
• can benefit through their students gaining a global perspective on their own lives and situations and developing global citizenship through learning and action
